Nature is wonderful. She is a unique artist who presents her works to us often in unusual and extraordinary ways. This can best be seen on the example of Koloč, a natural triumphal arch that was created by the work of nature over many centuries.
It is about ten meters high rock in the shape of a doughnut, which is why it got the name Koloč (local word for “cake”).
There are various legends related to Koloč. Almost all small children on the island know that this is the place where elves and fairies meet for wild dancing on special nights. Also, by passing under Koloč, you can become part of the magic: they say that a kiss under this beautiful natural triumphal arch is eternal. But don’t forget that magic only happens to those who believe in it 🙂
