16-th century #castle Cerinic in Škrip on the island of Brač is considered the most monumental renaissance fortified castle on the island.
It has two towers and a double door, quite popular ancient defensive military tactics (propugnaculum). The same defensive system was used in Diocletian’s palace (best preserved at the Golden Gate).
